Brisbane North PHN (the PHN) is passionate about providing equitable access to primary healthcare for culturally and linguistically diverse communities.

Our vision is a community where good health is available to everyone. To help us achieve this, we have partnered with Settlement Services International (SSI) to deliver two free e-learning courses that support the ongoing development of our primary health care workforce.

These courses are proudly funded by the PHN with support from the Australian Government.

Brisbane North PHN invites you to consolidate your cultural learning by attending a FREE in-person multicultural health workshop. The workshop combines evidence-informed practice with real-world application for allied health professionals.  

Funded by the PHN and facilitated by SSI Diversity Training, the intermediate-level workshops will unpack culturally responsive practice for allied health professionals including:

engaging in culturally safe conversations
understanding power and privilege and why it’s important for building culturally inclusive practices.
