Courses

Culturally responsive support in aged care

This e-learning module is designed for workers who provide support services for older people in their home. The topics covered in this module enable aged care workers to provide culturally responsive support, particularly to consumers who have migrated to Australia as migrants or refugees. This self-paced online learning module consists of seven short lessons and can be completed on your laptop or any mobile device.

Approximately 60 minutes to complete. Pause at any time and come back where you've left off.

Working with interpreters

Australia is a vibrant multicultural nation with 429 languages spoken and 22.8% of the population speaking a language other than English at home. Working with professional interpreters is a key skill needed to ensure equitable access to services and quality client outcomes. This e-learning explores how we can improve our interactions and communication when working with a professional interpreter.
